Description:
This pair is a typical standard 9-pin RS232 connector set. They are also referred to as DB9 connectors. A computer serial COM port (DTE) is usually a male port, and any peripheral devices to be connected to this port usually have a female connector (DCE). Hobbyists normally use these to make a data downloading device.
