Description:

Detection Principle - Sending tube emits infrared ray of certain frequency. Once connected with power, the red LED will be on. When the infrared ray meets an obstacle (reflection surface), it is reflected and received by receiver. After processing the reflected signal by the comparator circuit, the green LED is lit on, and at the same time a digital signal (a low level signal) is emitted through signal output interface. Detection distance can be adjusted through potentiometer knob between 2 ~ 80cm. The module is more sensitive to an object in white color and in black color. Working voltage is from 3.3V to 5V. It is suitable for a variety of microcontrollers, and can be installed on robotic chassis to detect the surrounding environment changes.
