Fourier Intelligence G1 Review: Not the Unitree G1

Updated FIRGELLI Robots engineering review of this humanoid. Last updated 23 August 2026.

Fourier Intelligence G1 Review: Not the Unitree G1

Quick Answer

Fourier Intelligence’s G1 is a rehabilitation-and-research humanoid/exoskeleton-family product from the Fourier GR line’s maker. It is not Unitree’s G1. If you landed here from a “G1 review” query, check the URL: this one is /blogs/robot-reviews/fourier-intelligence-g1-review. Unitree’s compact biped lives at unitree-robotics-unitree-g1-review.

Fourier is a Shanghai medical-robotics company best known for rehab exoskeletons and later the GR-1 / GR-2 humanoids. The “G1” name on Fourier pages has been used in a rehab / general-purpose context that secondary databases happily collided with Unitree. We keep the robots apart on purpose.

Our Verdict

Field Rating Notes
Overall Review Score 6.0 / 10 Real company, thin public G1-specific buyer data. Score is not Unitree’s 7.6 and not a fake 9.0.
Commercial Readiness 4.0 / 10 Fourier sells rehab systems. The G1 humanoid-style SKU is not a clear global shop item.
Consumer Readiness 1.0 / 10
Autonomy Confidence Low in public humanoid-labor terms
Best For Readers who must disambiguate Fourier vs Unitree
Biggest Concern Name collision with Unitree G1

What Is Fourier’s G1?

Fourier Intelligence publishes rehab robotics and, separately, the GR-1 and GR-2 humanoids. Public pages and databases have also used “G1” for an earlier / adjacent Fourier platform. We will not invent a spec table that Unitree’s G1 owns (35 kg, $13.5K, 23–43 motors). Those numbers are Unitree’s. If Fourier’s live site lists different figures for its own G1, those win — and they will not match Unitree.

Who Makes It?

Fourier Intelligence, Shanghai. Not Unitree Robotics, Hangzhou.

What Should a Buyer Do?

If you want the $13.5K developer biped, you want Unitree G1. If you want Fourier’s current humanoid, start with our GR-2 review and Fourier’s official GR pages. Do not issue a PO that says only “G1.”

FAQ

Is this the Unitree G1?

No.

Does Fourier G1 cost $13,500?

That price is Unitree’s published G1 starting price, not a Fourier figure we have verified.
