What Was ASIMO?
Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility. Honda’s long-running biped, last widely shown in the 2011–2018 generation: about 130 cm, 48 kg, claimed walking speed around 9 km/h in Honda material, multi-finger hands, stair climbing, tray service in demos. It was the humanoid most civilians could name before Atlas and Optimus.
