Quick Answer
RB-Y1 is Rainbow Robotics’ wheeled dual-arm, humanoid-style mobile manipulator. It is not a walking humanoid. The May 2025 stencil filed it next to Atlas and gave it a 9.0. Wheels plus two arms is a real category. It is not Atlas.
Our Verdict

| Biggest concern | Humanoid-review SERPs that hide the wheels |
What it is
A wheeled base with a humanoid-looking dual-arm upper body. Our profile lists 24 DOF and leaves height, weight, payload and runtime unverified. Rainbow is a real Korean robotics company (the quadruped and cobot people).
What is published
Company video (our profile cites multiple clips) and a handful of reference links. No public price. We will not invent a kg rating to fill the table.
Flaws
Announced is not shipped-and-supported. A wheeled manipulator still needs a floor, a safety case, and software you can keep. The cloned humanoid FAQ was the wrong checklist.
Real-world usefulness
Potentially high for indoor mobile manipulation research if Rainbow is actually quoting you. As a biped labor substitute: wrong robot. Do not compare it to Unitree G1.
