Quick Answer
T1 Standard is the baseline Booster Robotics T1 — a child-to-teen-scale developer biped, not a warehouse adult. Booster’s public sheet is about 118 cm tall, about 30 kg, 23 degrees of freedom. Our catalog wrote that height as 118 mm. A 7.7 stencil score and a compare-to-Optimus block were template, not a review.
Our Verdict
| Field | Rating | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Overall Review Score | 6.8 / 10 | Real, quotable research kit. Not an industrial humanoid. |
| Research usefulness | 7.4 / 10 | Booster publishes dimensions, DOF and ROS-style developer positioning. |
| Commercial readiness | 5.5 / 10 | Sold as a developer platform. No public MSRP on our card. |
| Consumer readiness | 1.0 / 10 | |
| Autonomy confidence | Supervised / researcher-driven | |
| Best for | Labs that want a carryable biped and already know Booster | |
| Biggest concern | Reading 118 mm as the real height, or treating T1 as Atlas-class |
What it is
Booster’s mid-size humanoid development platform. Official size is 118 × 47 × 23 cm and about 30 kg, with 23 DOF in the standard layout (6 per leg, 4 per arm, 1 waist, 2 head). That is a lab machine you can lift, not a pallet mover.
What is published
Booster’s T1 product page and the T1 user manual. Our profile also lists a 2-hour runtime and 0.8 m/s — treat those as catalog figures, not a duty-cycle study. Price is not publicly listed here.
Flaws
The May 2025 page hid the company name and wrote the height in millimetres. T1 Standard, T1 Basic and T1 Grippers are configuration splits of one platform, not three unrelated robots.
Real-world usefulness
High for education, RoboCup-style work and locomotion research. Low for anyone trying to replace a person on a line. This is not Unitree G1 and it is not Fourier G1.
