Walker X Review: UBTECH’s Earlier Service Humanoid, Not Walker S

Walker X is UBTECH’s older service/show biped, not Walker S, C1, or U1. C1 and U1 (168,000 yuan) appeared at WRC 19–23 August 2026.

Walker X Review: UBTECH’s Earlier Service Humanoid, Not Walker S

Quick Answer

Walker X is UBTECH’s earlier service-and-demo humanoid. It is not Walker S, the industrial biped UBTECH has been pushing into factories. Height / weight / payload numbers on our profile come from a secondary vendor listing (1300 mm, 63 kg, 3 kg, 2 hours, 41 DOF). Treat those as unverified copies, not a UBTECH quote sheet.

What it is

A full-size UBTECH biped shown for service and stage work before the Walker S industrial story. Same company, different robot, different buying question.

Walker X is still that older service and show biped. At WRC, 19–23 August 2026, Independent named UBTECH’s new commercial Walker C1, and AP quoted Jiao Jichao at 168,000 yuan for the consumer emotional-care humanoid Chinese coverage that week called U1. Those are later SKUs. This page is not them.

What is published

Show coverage and that secondary listing. One reference link on our profile. We will not upgrade 3 kg / 2 hours into a factory rating.

Flaws

The stencil compared Walker X to Optimus and Figure 02. Wrong decade of evidence. If you care about UBTECH in a plant, read Walker S.

Real-world usefulness

Low as a 2026 PO target. Useful so searchers hitting “Walker X review” do not think they found Walker S.
